Nine top Sydney breweries to showcase their latest hop-filled beers at The Fresh Harvest Beer Festival

The Fresh Harvest Beer Festival, a celebration of fresh, hoppy beers and the annual hop harvest, is taking over Frenchies Bistro & Brewery in partnership with The Crafty Pint on Saturday, 20th May.

The ultimate event for beer lovers and the beer curious, it will provide guests with the opportunity to try a stellar line-up of hoppy beers from nine leading South Sydney breweries, which are only available once a year, all in the one place.

Brewers from 2Halfs, Beer Fontaine, Bracket Brewing, One Drop Brewing Co, Rocks Brewing Co., Slow Lane Brewing, The Bondi Brewing Co., The Social Brewers, and Frenchies Brewery will be setting up shop on the day, ready to pour and talk attendees through their creations, from their hop inclusions and flavour profiles, to inspiration behind the beers.

These special tastings will be paired with a curated beer food menu by the Frenchies Bistro team, who will be slinging dishes including burgers, hot dogs and fries. Plus, ticket holders will be automatically entered into a raffle, where beer and merch prizes will be up for grabs.

The event will run from 12pm through to 10pm, making this the perfect weekend activity for those keen to discover the city’s bustling beer scene at their leisure.

Tickets are $20 per person, and are available for both pre-purchase now, and on the door on the day. Beer prices will be individually set by each brewery, and will be available for takeaway too, so guests can pick and choose their favourites, and re-create their hop-filled experience at home.

Vincent de Soyres, the event’s Founder, and the Master Brewer & Co-Founder of Frenchies Bistro & Brewery says: “We’re very excited to be re-launching the Fresh Harvest Beer Festival following its immense success a few years back, and especially as we’ve got such a legendary line-up of breweries onboard this year.

“The event will showcase beers brewed using the freshest hops from the recent harvest here in the Southern Hemisphere, as well as the latest Northern Hemisphere hops that are now available in Australia. They impart the freshest possible aromas, which are more fruity and oily in flavour and texture, resulting in the highest quality tasting brews. So, we’re really looking forward to bringing these special creations to The Cannery for one day only.”
